Huw Edwards Criticised for Entering Welsh Poetry Competition Under Pseudonym Huw Edwards, a former BBC presenter, has come under fire for entering a Welsh poetry competition under a pseudonym.

The controversy surrounds his poem "adnabod," which means "knowing" in Welsh, and was submitted to the National Eisteddfod of Wales festival's poetry competition.

Edwards had previously been given a six month suspended sentence in September 2024 for accessing indecent images of children as young as seven.
